At the start of the new training year, we are delighted to welcome two new trainees to our team who will be taking their first professional steps with us.
At the same time, we are pleased to be cooperating with the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Gelsenkirchen-Buer in the area of career guidance: This is made possible by the “School-Company Partnership” project of the IHK Nord Westfalen.
With their support, a regional network is being established to support pupils in their transition to working life.
Shortly before the summer vacations, we and 10 other partners signed the cooperation agreements.

For principal Cirsten Scharf, the cooperation has great added value for everyone involved. “We want to promote the diverse potential of our pupils. For companies, diversity in the workplace means innovation and creativity.” The partnership between the secondary school and a large number of different companies and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce is therefore “a win-win situation”.

For Walpol GmbH, the cooperation offers an opportunity to draw the attention of graduates from the Max Planck Gymnasium and to inspire potential future specialists.
The partnership includes company tours and application training, information on internships and specialist work, and training ambassadors present their everyday working life to the classes.
